Dr. Albert Goday is the New President of the Advisory Council on Diabetes in Catalonia

This is a body created to advise the government in this field.

Dr. Albert Goday, emeritus section head of the Endocrinology and Nutrition Department at Hospital del Mar, researcher at its research institute, and associate professor of Medicine at UPF, has been appointed president of the Advisory Council on Diabetes in Catalonia. This council's role is to provide guidance to the government on diabetes, and it includes endocrinologists, family doctors, nurses, as well as patients and representatives from patient associations. Dr. Goday succeeds Dr. Dídac Mauricio in this position.

The appointment has been published in the Official Gazette of the Government of Catalonia and is for a term of four years.
