Project title:

Comparative investigation of the effectiveness of shared decision making in the treatment of localized prostate cancer with new and traditional modalities (PI21/00023)

Description:

The selected person will join the Health services research group (Epidemiology and public health research program).

Task:

Office work. Support for centres in the collection of project data, quality control of clinical forms and quality of life interviews, as well as the identification and completion of missing data, database management and statistical analysis.

Formation:

Degree in Health Sciences, Life Sciences or similar and Master in Public Health or Epidemiology.

Experience:

Experience in research projects with clinical and quality of life data with patient-reported outcomes is required, especially multicentre projects and where patient interviews are planned.

Knowledge:

It is essential to have knowledge in epidemiology, public health, and the application of results reported by patients. It is also essential to have a medium-high level of English that will be assessed in the interview.

Additional information:

We are looking for a person with organizational capacity, initiative and perseverance, who has the skills to work in multidisciplinary teams and communication skills. This contract covers specific needs of an ongoing project with public funding. The contract is subject to approval by the Carlos III Health Institute. The cost of the contract is subsidized by the Carlos III Health Institute.This subsidy may be co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, 'One way of making Europe'.
