Project title:

Unraveling the molecular mechanism of the pathophysiology of diabetic and non-diabetic kidney disease and the benefits of dapagliflozin through systems biology (PI22/00006)

Description:

The selected person will join the Kidney disease research group (Translational Clinical Research Program).

Task:

Preparation of buffers and basic solutions, following established protocols and assuring quality and reproducibility. Execution of routine techniques developed in the laboratory. Performance of advanced analyses, including: Western Blot, PCR, Enzymatic assays. Extraction of biomolecules (DNA, RNA and proteins) from samples of different origins, adapting the procedures according to the objectives of the project. Management and maintenance of cell cultures, ensuring their organization and availability as experimental models for the research group.

Formation:

Degree in Health Sciences.

Experience:

Basic laboratory skills, such as accurate pipetting. Calibration of pH-meters. Calculations related to molar units, grams and the preparation of solutions and buffers. Knowledge in molecular and biochemical techniques mentioned above.

Knowledge:

Conocimientos informáticos a nivel de Microsoft Office, SPPS Statitics Knowledge in molecular biology techniques related to diagnostics.

Additional information:

Organization, attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team. Previous experience in a research or biotechnology laboratory. This subsidy may be co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, 'One way of making Europe'.
