Description:

The selected person will join the Kidney disease research group (Translational Clinical Research Program).

Task:

Functions as Lab Manager, ensuring the organization and proper functioning of the laboratory. Actively participate in in vivo and in vitro studies, collaborating in the design, execution and analysis of experiments. Analyze and validate research results, contributing to the elaboration of high impact scientific reports and articles. Lead the direction and supervision of Final Degree, Master and Doctoral Thesis.

Formation:

PhD in Biology. Certification as a researcher user of experimental animals (Category C of FELASA).

Experience:

Previous experience in research related to nephropathies. Proficiency in basic molecular biology techniques and specific laboratory methods, such as: Measurement of enzyme activities. Animal manipulation (especially intravenous and subcutaneous injections). Development of new experimental techniques. Demonstrated experience in supervision of students in undergraduate, master and doctoral projects.

Knowledge:

Advanced level of English and French. User level proficiency in tools such as Office, SPSS and R.

Additional information:

Additional training as operator of radioactive facilities will be valued. This recruitment is subject to the grant of aid.
