Description:: The selected person will join the Epidemiology and evaluation research group (Epidemiology and public health research program).
Task:: The main tasks would focus on supporting and carrying out statistical analyses for the project to evaluate the impact of breast cancer screening on mortality. Duties: •Data analysis and presentation of results, aimed at the publication of scientific articles. •Creation, cleaning and restructuring of databases. Validation of the data collected.
Formation:: Bachelor's degree and master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics or other bachelor's degree in Health Sciences with accredited training in statistics. It will be valued: PhD, preferably with training/specialisation in biostatistics, epidemiology or public health.
Experience:: Expertise is requested preferably in health data analysis: . Participation in research projects in the field of health sciences, especially in the design and analysis of cohort studies and cases and controls. . Experience in the development of analytical projects: data preparation and validation, statistical analysis, presentation of results.
Knowledge:: . Mastery of various statistical and data analysis programs: R, SPSS, Stata and/or other programs. . Knowledge in computer science: Management and debugging of databases, spreadsheets, etc. . Knowledge of English.
