External income from competitive projects has seen a drop, particularly in European projects, due to the invoicing system. In national projects, the decrease was not so sharp and was partly compensated by the success in international projects.

Other external funds have increased, largely thanks to the activity of the institution’s anti-doping laboratory.

The effect of these movements has meant that, for the first time, external income has exceeded income due to competitive projects.
