The external incomes from competitive projects have experienced an increase, mainly because of the new European projects and the PERIS projects corresponding to national grants.

Other external funds have been increased, thanks in part to the activity of the institution’s anti-doping laboratory and the donations compensating the reduction in contracts with the pharmaceutical industry.
